11th International Conference on Human-Animal Interactions
To be held for the first time in Tokyo in October 2007

The 11th International Conference on Human-Animal Interactions hosted by IAHAIO will be held from October 5th (Friday) – 8th (Monday/holiday) in Tokyo. The theme of this conference – the first international conference to be held in Asia let alone Japan – will be “People and Animals: Partnership in Harmony,” and various research studies on the relationship between humans and animals will be presented.
The national members of IAHAIO in Japan are: the Japanese Animal Hospital Association (JAHA) and the Society for the Study of Human Animal Relations (HARS). We, Companion Animal Information and Research Center (CAIRC), will be participating in the event as an affiliate member, to help ensure the success of the conference.
